Return & Exchange Policy
We value your business and want you to be confident in your purchase. Because towing equipment is large and heavy-duty, all returns and exchanges must follow the guidelines below.
Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery, provided that:
- The product is unused, uninstalled, and in original condition.
- The item includes all original hardware.
- A valid receipt or proof of purchase is provided.
Items showing signs of use, installation, damage, or modification are not eligible for return or exchange.
Shipping Responsibility
Due to the size and weight of towing equipment, most products must be palletized and shipped via LTL freight for returns or exchanges.
- The customer is fully responsible for arranging and paying all shipping costs, including LTL freight, palletizing, and any additional carrier fees.
- All return shipments must be securely packaged and properly strapped to a pallet to prevent damage during transport.
- We recommend choosing a reputable, insured LTL carrier and retaining the bill of lading and tracking details.
- We are not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged shipments.
Refunds
Once your returned item is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of its status.
- Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
- All shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
- Items received in damaged or non-original condition may be subject to a restocking fee or refused entirely.
Non-Returnable Items
To maintain safety and product integrity, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Installed, used, or modified towing equipment
- Custom-fabricated or special-order items
- Clearance, open-box, or final sale products
How to Begin a Return or Exchange
To start a return or exchange, please contact our team at sales@hitchcrafter.com with your order number and details. We’ll provide authorization and instructions before your shipment is accepted.
